AMost European and Asian countries already have a high prevalence of obesity and cardiovascular diseases.
BMost citizens of the European and Asian countries into which the American fast-food chains are expanding are less aware of the adverse health effects of regular fast-food consumption than most Americans.
CThe state-wise incidence of obesity and cardiovascular diseases in the United States is proportional to the state-wise per capita consumption of fast-food.
DIn laboratory experiments, normal-weight mice who are fed exclusively on fast-food become obese but mice who are fed a non-fast-food diet retain their normal weight.
